Dr Du served in the Cash Market Consultative Panel of HKEX (388HK) for two consecutive terms from 2016 to 2022.
Dr Du was a paralegal with a local boutique law firm for 6 months，focusing on commercial disputes, regulation and compliance as well as company law. Prior to pursuing his second career in legal services, Dr Du had more than 20 years of extensive experiences in the financial centres in Beijing, London and Hong Kong. He held positions such as Managing Director and Chief Operation Officer in leading Chinese investment banks in Hong Kong. He was a co-founder of BOCI – the first Chinese investment bank in the City. Dr Du was the chief architect of the high profile “Hong Kong Stock Through Train” program in 2007. Dr Du also founded the stock borrowing and lending desk, prime brokerage business as well as listed derivative warrants business in his previous career. Dr Du has intensive experiences in financial derivatives trading, private wealth management as well as Fintech. Since practising, Dr Du has independently provided legal opinion on issues concerning Securities and Futures Ordinance and contract law.

杜博士曾在一間香港精品律師樓擔任法律助理，從事商業糾紛、監管合規及公司法有關的法律工作。在開始其法律生涯之前，杜博士在北京、 倫敦、香港等金融中心擁有超過 20 年豐富經驗。 他曾任位於香港的領先中資投行董事總經理、首席營運官等職位。杜博士是倫敦金融城首家中國投行- 中銀國際聯合創始人，也是 2007 年「港股直通車」計劃的主要架構師。 杜博士在之前的職業生涯中曾創立證券借貸業務、大宗經紀業務以及上市衍生窩輪業務。 杜博士在金融衍生品交易、私人財富管理以 及金融科技有深入的經驗。 執業以來，杜大律師已經獨立為客戶提供涉及證券期貨條例、合約法等有關的法律意見。
